Born in 1955 in Larvik, attended Torstrand Elementary School and then Mesterfjellet Junior High School. During this time he began writing poetry and later became a singer, after he learned to play the guitar.
Trained as a radio and TV service technician and later as a low-voltage and high-voltage fitter/installer. Attended Bakenteigen and studied computer engineering, and has recently worked on developing technical aids for the hearing impaired. Is a sound technician with his own studio
